Case Study: FOVAHM

    Situation

    Following a training organized by AVIP with directors of institutions in the Canton of Valais, the director of the Valais Foundation for People with Mental Disabilities (FOVAHM) wanted to support his management team in adopting generative artificial intelligence in their professional practices.

    Train two categories of staff through six half-days. The objective was to introduce the fundamentals of generative AI, explore concrete use cases, transmit advanced prompting techniques and sustainably integrate these tools into daily business processes.

    First half-day

    Generative AI fundamentals, playful exercises and professional use cases.

    Second half-day

    Advanced use of paid ChatGPT: Excel integration, image analysis, data extraction, simplification of technical manuals and production of texts in Easy Read language.

    Third half-day

    Creation of an AI tools integration roadmap with specific KPIs for impact monitoring.

    Results

    At the end of these sessions, 100% of participants expressed a desire to significantly increase their use of artificial intelligence in their professional activity.

    The potential savings are estimated at CHF 85,000 over a full year for the 22 trained employees.

    The return on investment remains very positive, despite the annual cost of the paid version of ChatGPT (approximately CHF 5,280 per year for 22 employees).
